Wang Yitai: A leading figure in Chinese Hip-Hop
He is returning to Australia with his highly anticipated "Love Me Later" 2025 World Tour. Following his wildly successful appearance in 2023, the renowned Chinese hip-hop artist is set to deliver another unforgettable experience for fans down under.
As a defining voice in Mandarin rap and a key figure from the Chengdu music scene, Wang Yitai has consistently pushed the boundaries of Chinese hip-hop since his emergence in 2015. His critically acclaimed 2019 album "The Rapper" earned widespread recognition, followed by major hits like "Dangerous Party," which topped viral charts on Douyin in 2021. His competitive victory on "The Rap of China" in 2022 and accolades such as the Forbes China Outstanding Artist award in 2024 underscore his growing influence. Most recently, his album "Love Me Later" received the Best Rap Album award at the 2023 Wave Music Awards.
